Project Objectives Quantifiable Deliverables
To test the performance of nettle as field crop. Cultivation protocol of nettle to be developed.
Testing of nutritional components in nettle. To establish appropriate stage of harvesting, seed harvesting.
To find out variation for nutritional and yield traits. To assess nutritional quality of nettle for selected strains.
Testing its efficacy in white grub (Kurmula) control. Use Nettle water as effective while grub (kurmula) to control .
