Project Objectives Quantifiable Deliverables
To conduct a base line survey for compiling a database of agricultural information on the relevant parameters of current conventional farming or organic farming system being practiced by the farmers of the selected villages. Status report on agricultural organic farming in target area.
To conduct the assessment on local awareness of organic farming practices and to analyze the perceptions of farmers on organic farming. Identification of constraints faced by the farmers in adopting organic agriculture.
To conduct trainings, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, etc., for capacity building of farmers on organic farming techniques and practices and motivate them to adopt organic farming practices. Suggestion for diversification of crops for improved nutritional status of the communities.
