Project Objectives Quantifiable Deliverables
To create awareness towards importance, adoption and promotion of organic farming. Establish model for organic cultivation and land management.
To demonstrated technology & method for cultivation of organic farming and increase farmers income. Conservation of natural resources and improve environmental health.
Skill development of the farmers through training/Exposure visits for adoption of new technologies, value addition and supply chain managements. Live demonstration and to built up successful model of organic agriculture to influence the NRM policy of Uttarakhand.
To establish a nursery for ensuring supply of quality vegetable plants to the target population.
To identify the problems faced by the growers and to suggest suitable measures.
To developed awareness materials, i.e., posters, pamphlets, leaflets etc. for wider dissemination.
