Project Objectives Quantifiable Deliverables
Propagation of the species from different provenances to identify the elite provenances. Model demonstration on popularization of medicinal plant cultivation in remote village of Uttarakhand.
Mass multiplication of the selected species through conventional methods. Skill development of farmers for large scale cultivation.
Cultivation of selected species in 50 hectare land of selected villages. Establishment of market linkages for MAPs.
Distribution of planting materials to the small Women farmers.
Maximize field transfer of conventionally grown plants involving local communities.
Demonstration of cost effective propagation packages at different sites of nearby area.
