UN Declaration

The United Nations (UN) initiated a drive with objective "Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development", under which 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 associated Targets demonstrate the scale and ambition of this new, post-2015 Universal Agenda, as declared in the United Nations meeting held during 25–27 September 2015 (ref. http://sustainabledevelopment.un.org). While embarking on this great collective journey worldwide, India as a nation is also committed to the UN Universal Agenda with a historic and effective global mobilisation method for addressing the important social priorities worldwide. In this context, it is felt earnestly that these Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) should be linked with or included in our all research studies and development interventions performed under the NMHS.
