Directorate of Skill Development They will be responsible for imparting various trainings focusing on skill Upgradation

• To develop interpretation models and upgrading and diversifying the botanical garden and NLC;

 

 

• To form a strong and capable manpower for operation of the centre;

 

 

• To develop of ground linkages between partner institutions;

 

 

• To select interested and natural resource-dependant user-groups from functional EDCs/JFMCs for trainings towards sustainable livelihoods;

 

 

• To develop a team of trainers amongst permanent staffs of the area/interested user groups for sustainability of the NLC beyond the NLC duration;

 

 

• Annual Feedback mechanism and subsequent modification.

 

 

 

 

• NLC and the Botanical garden to be maintained and upgraded with proper and required;

 

• infrastructures relevant to meet the objectives and to reach the goal of the project;

 

• Development of an environmentally educated class in the society who may respond and react for environmental conservation in all respects (Annual target of students and other than student to be educated: Minimum 1000 No.);

 

• The livelihood trainings and skill Upgradation to the natural resource dependant user groups from functional EDCs/JFMCs (Annual target of EDC/JFMC members to be trained (200 No.);

 

• The committed team of expert trainers and educators `will be able to run the centre in a regular routine and will help in extending the impact beyond its influence zone.
