i) To develop a hub at a Centralized place for Nature Learning and an Interpretation Centre which will serve as Educational and Recreational Centre which adds to the conservation of Forest, Wildlife and Nature.
ii) To generate awareness about Forest, Wildlife, Nature, Climate, etc. among school students, teachers, villagers, Policy makers, Civil Societies, etc. Objectives(s) of NLC that will be achieved by the project: The main aim of Him-Nature Learning Centre is to educate, engage and empower community to positively impact their local environments. It will serve as a regional centre of training with expertise in a focused area of subject specialization including alternate livelihood promotion, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource (water, land, biodiversity, etc.) management through well-designed training programmes, manuals and materials. Promote environmental awareness/ nature conservation through various awareness programmes. It is expected that through the Nature Learning Centre, students and other foreststakeholders can learn the immense values of nature and their attitude towards living with nature would be improved.
