Under the aegis of National Mission on Himalayan Studies; CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh distributed 2275 kg “Compost Booster- a microbial formulation for rapid degradation of night soil” among the listed beneficiaries of three villages of Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh. The distribution was made to fulfil the increasing demand of the product among the dry toilet users. Earlier on 26 September, 2021; three societies of Lahaul valley signed an agreement for material transfer and consultancy for the product developed at CSIR-IHBT. The distribution programme was conducted by CSIR-IHBT with help from registered societies of Tandi, Ghosal and Mooling Village.
