Category II Projects Details - 2025-26
Category II, on the other hand, supports larger projects with wider spatial and thematic coverage. These projects have a budget between ₹5–15 crore and typically run for 2–3 years. Like Category I, they emphasize a participatory approach with local communities and require a clear sustainability plan post-funding. They are open to ministries, government departments, academic and research institutions, and other eligible organizations, usually in partnership with government bodies where needed.
