Integrated farming system approach involving agri-horti, cattle, pig, poultry and other components and has the potential to enhance productivity per unit area. Being having, climatic conditions ideally for cultivation of various fruits, vegetables, spices, multipurpose trees, orchids, flowers etc. These congenial climatic conditions can be exploited in IFS model for the betterment of farming community. Information and communication technologies play a role in disseminating information to farmers enabling them to decide on the cropping pattern, use of high-yielding seeds, fertilizer application, pest management, marketing, etc. It will serve the purpose of connecting link and pave the way to reach to unreached farmers, Therefore, Project has been proposed for livelihood improvement and empowerment of tribal farmers through Integrated farming systems & ICT application in Arunachal Pradesh.
