| Project Brief Description: |
The objective of the project to develop a hardware and software module for farmers to do Internet of Things (IoT) based smart agriculture in India. The hardware module comprises of sensors to measure some important parameters of the soil and the climate. The sensors will give information to the automatic control unit and at the same time, the sensors data has to be stored in the cloud for further analysis. The farmers can remotely monitor, control and analyze the parameters to enhance the productivity of the agricultural land. To develop a user friendly monitoring and control system for farmers, a mobile based application is to be designed. This application will also be featured with an analysis tool for giving suggestion to the farmers for suitable crop for a particular land in a particular season. The scope of the project is very much straight forward to the implementation of IoT based smart agriculture in NE India. Both the hardware and software can be made user friendly such that a farmer can use this tool easily for smart farming. By monitoring and controlling the parameters, the production can definitely be improved. |
